COLORFUL CELLS
At Hôtel La Prison, some of our rooms have swapped their austere walls for true works of art! To breathe new life into these history-filled spaces, we gave carte blanche to artists.
fanny bonon
Armed with her paintbrushes and boundless imagination, Fanny Bonon has transformed some of our former cells into living canvases, where colors and shapes dance across the historic walls. Each room painted by Fanny is an invitation to dream, to escape (symbolically, of course 😉), and to step into a one-of-a-kind universe!
Pierre Bendine-Boucar
On the occasion of his exhibition at the hotel, Pierre Bendine-Boucar transformed Cell 206 into an immersive artwork. This unique room fully reflects his artistic universe, blending vivid colors, graphic forms, and subtle nods to the iconography of Fantômas. An invitation to sleep at the heart of creation — for a truly extraordinary experience.
“The Die Has Been Cast” Exhibition by Lilian Euzéby
The Hôtel La Prison welcomes artists in collaboration with the Duprès & Duprès Gallery. The exhibitions are accessible in the hotel’s common areas, particularly at the reception desk and within the Bistrot.
Through this exhibition, Lilian Euzéby invites visitors to explore landscapes where time, memory, and nature converge. His works, both abstract and evocative, reveal profound worlds in which traces of the past intertwine with the movements of water, wind, and light.
Inspired by natural elements, ancient civilizations, and vast open spaces, the artist creates sensitive landscapes that oscillate between reality and imagination. Each canvas offers a contemplative experience, encouraging viewers to linger on the textures, reliefs, and subtle nuances in order to discover new perspectives.
Balancing depth and light, "The Die Has Been Cast" is an invitation to an inner journey and a rediscovery of our intimate connection with nature and the passage of time.

An incredibly striking one-man musical show by the multi-instrumentalist actor and musician Erwan Le Guen, artist of the Épicurieuse Company.
A performance discovered and directed by Papy, known for his work with Jamel Debbouze, Blanche Gardin, and many others.
Blending theater, storytelling, and songs, Erwan humorously and poetically shares the story of meeting his musical theater idol, but above all, of his own life: his need for recognition, freeing himself from others’ judgments, the boundless power of music…
